Nigel Edwards

Nigel has been creating his own businesses for over 25 years. Previously Nigel worked for large multinationals in risk and capital markets, working and living in London, Paris, Sydney, New York/Old Greenwich.  After roles as innovative lead international reinsurance underwriter (building and hedging portfolios of natural catastrophe, liabilities and agri risk), Nigel moved to USA to pioneer cat option & then bond markets.  He has built on these skills in his own companies including pioneering use of long term house-price indexes, mortality and other risk-hedges behind successful largescale asset acquisitions between £10 and £500m+.

He has acted within leisure markets for over 15 years, first as a founder director of a £25m multi-activity leisure startup; then helping holiday businesses evolve, completing M&A and equity & debt financings from £10 to £100m+, and has sought to meet an unmet need for specialist data analytics.

He says all the lessons, good and bad, from all the businesses, are beginning to make him useful.
